Top 5 - Vote

Help me!!! Vote for my Top 5!!!!
So Matt met with the Young Men a few weeks ago about planning activities. One idea they had was Top 5 Night where everyone would bring their top 5 songs to play for everyone else to hear. Matt started working on his list and couldn't narrow it down. I was like "that's sooooo easy." So I started my own. Um... no. I got it to my top 10 and even that was hard. So I need your help. Vote on the songs you think I should have in my top five. Listen to them on my play list below. Pop out works best.
The Sweetest Thing by U2 (Um... even if you don't vote for this one, it's going to be my top pick always and forever)
No One's Gonna Love you by Band of Horses (Great Album)
City of Devils by Yellow Card (great live)
Sadie by Alkaline Trio (Best concert I have EVER been to)
Silhouette Serenade by Vendetta Red ( missed their concert. They played for about 20 people. I thought they would have cancelled it!!! I will never regret it.)
Breath by Super chick (this song keeps me going when I think the worlds going to end. They have very motivating music. It's a girl Christian band)
Minstrel's Prayer by Cartel (My favorite new band. I listened to this song a lot in Spain)
Somewhere out there by our Lady Peace (reminiscing of senior year and summer) Nicole and Mike Hover should know this one well. :)
Hold My Heart by Letter Kills (this Is Matt and I's song. Letter Kills was the first concert we went to together.)
Dancing by Elisa (Um... what girl couldn't love this song.)

Help me Vote for my Top 5!!!! What is your top 5? Try it.

A Crazy weekend!

Well, it has been a very interesting, busy stressful couple of weeks. Last weekend we went to Vernal. We got there on Thursday night. Matt's parents were watching Shady (Brian and Teneil's dog) while they were on vacation. Tank LOVES Shady. We joke that he's going to see his girlfriend. They immediately began playing as soon as we got there. I was a little worried because they were getting pretty rowdy and Shady is quite allot bigger than Tank but I didn't stop them. Shady was on her back and Tank got on her stomach. She got a hold of him with her paws and threw him about 3 feet in the air and he laded wrong on his leg fracturing it. It was the saddest cry I have ever heard. I felt helpless. He was in so much pain. We watched him all night and he was favoring it pretty good. It was to late to take him to the vet so we put him to bed. The next day we made an appointment with the Vet.

The Vet checked him out and took x rays. He had a fractured bone in his wrist. He said that he would put a cast on him but he would have to sedate him. I was not at all cool with that. I told him hat I would just hold him but he said it wouldn't work. We had to leave him there for an hour. We went home and got ready for Spencer's wedding. Matt's mom and dad had to pick Tank up so that we could go. Spencer is Matt's friend that hooked Matt and I up. It was a beautiful wedding and the scenery was gorgeous.

It was a very peaceful setting. I love the colors. I would have taken a lot more pictures but Brian and Teneil have my camera in Europe.

She has two very cute little kids.

We are so happy for him. He's the last of Matt's friends to get married and we always wanted to set him up since he set us up.

When we got home we found tank in cast. How cute is that?!!!

We went riding the next day at the Honda hills. It was pretty fun but Matt ended up breaking his toe. I had two broken boys to take care of.
We went home on Sunday night and as soon as we got home Tank started throwing up. We thought maybe it was just car sickness but he threw up two more times. I was getting a little worried. We went to bed and I got up the next morning to go to work and he had diarrhea all night and ALL over his new bed that we just bought for him. I let him out and he threw up again. This time he had blood in it. I flipped. I thought Tank had Parvo (a disease that kills about 90% of dogs that get it) from the vet. I was cleaning the floor and balling my eyes out. I decided to stay home and take care of him. I prayed so hard for him. I did some research on the medicine the vet gave him and Tank had allot of the side effects listed... nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, not wanting to eat, lack of energy. I was livid. I immediately called my mom. She was furious. I called two Vets and one said to seperate the medication from the food and give it to him in his mouth which I later read on the instructions for the medication you were NOT supposed to do. The other Vet just wanted us to bring him in. I decided to wait. I really don't like Vet's. I threw away the medication.

Here he is when we gave him a bath to clean him up. This was v
ery tricky. We put a ziplock bag over his cast and cinched it with a rubber band. We gave him p
eto bismal. The first couple of day
We gave him peto bismal. The first couple of days he wouldn't eat even with broth on his food. I had to hand feed him. The vet from Vernal got back to us and told us to not feed him for a day and give him more pepto. We did as told and finally today he is doing much, much better.

I think our cute little boy is going to make it! We love him so much. My prayers were answered.

10 Things I love about my mom!!!

10 things I love about my mom...
1. She is my best friend.
2. She is still a kid at heart.
3. Her laugh. (sometimes she snorts) :)
4. Her creativity. She is always trying something new.
5. Her beauty inside and out.
6. She cares so much about her children.
7. I can tell her anything.
8. She shares my passion of art. One time we got a Bob Ross art kit and tried it out. Our paintings actually turned out pretty good.
9. She listens and helps me with my problems.
10. Her positivity. She can have a problem that she is dealing with yet she always has a good attitude and know that everything will work out.
She worked hard to give us what we needed. She worked nights so that either her or my dad would be there for us. I remember her sleeping on the couch in the living room that made into a bed. I would play with her hair and put bows and things in her hair as she slept. I don't think there was a time that she didn't work full time. We weren't very well off yet we always had toys to play with and food to eat. I am so thankful that she never gave up on me even through my teenage rebellion years. I am so thankful that I can call her up and talk to her when I need advise. She has always been my best friend and always will be. I love you mom!

Jack's Photography Session

On Saturday I went over to Britney's for a photo session with Jack. Please note that this was my very first photo session EVER and I kind of had no idea what I was doing. It was fun and crazy at the same time. I was soooo nervous for some reason. Here are a couple of the photo's. I will have more coming soon. (Brit I am still working on the photo touch ups. I will get you a CD soon!)

This one with Brit and Jack is my favorite picture of all. I am so glad she let me take a few with her.
Close up and personal with Jack.

Carolyn wanted a picture with Azlan. I printed this one off and bought her a cute frame for mother's day.
I haven't touched this one up yet but I thought that it was so cute. Payton is going to be a heartbreaker when she gets older. She is very photogenic.

Britney's boys.
Nicole wanted in on the fun too.
Gotta love the baby toes. This one was one of the hardest shots to get. He wanted to spread his toes out and wouldn't keep his feet together. I never got the shot I wanted. Next time. More to come soon!!!
