Ophir Canyon Camping in New Trailer

We made a tough decision and decided to sell our dirt bikes and buy a camper trailer. Since we all can't ride as a family YET we decided the next best thing would be camping. I have tons of great memories of camping with my family. I plan on having more great memories with my own family. So until Abi is ready... good bye riding, hello camping, hiking and getting dirty in the reat outdoors!

Here are some pictures of our first camping trip...

We camped in a great spot with a large stream running through. We enjoyed the nice weather...

creepy crawlies...

Hiking....
Abi helped figure out where we were and how far we had gone.

We enjoyed the fall colors...

and lots of fun family time.
Abi did really well except for that night. It was so cold and we don' t have a heater in the trailer. She had to come sleep with us and we just are not used to that. I think she woke up 4 or 5 times. Oh well. It was worth it!

:) I love this picture of Matt. So handsome!

The Reason

The minute you think of
giving up, think of
the reason why you
held on for so long.

This Little Girl

This little girl makes me laugh so hard my stomach hurts....
Makes me smile...
Stills my breath away...
Stole my heart...
Has me wrapped around her finger.
Is my gift from God...

is showing me what life is all about.
This little girl makes me want to never give up, to be a better person, to live a better life. This little girl is my world.

The Cove Picnic

This park is right by our new house in Herriman! We love it! It is so beautiful. We went last Saturday and had a picnic by the pond. We were soon surrounded by ducks! Abi had a blast!

This big guy thought he was the leader of all of the ducks. :) It was so funny. He did not want us around. Check out the video.

Never to young (or old) for the playground!
I'm looking forward to next year when Abi can walk around and feed the ducks all by herself! We had a blast!

Abi's 6th Month B-day party

I can't believe our baby girl is half a year old! She is so beautiful but looks nothing like us.
We decided to have a little party just for her. (Just Matt and I).
She got a bunch of cute things from Matt's mom. A blanket, some clothes and some toys.
And we got her a fun toy too. She did surprisingly well unwrapping.
I made her a cake.
We gave her just a small piece but she managed to get it everywhere!

So we rinsed her off bumbo and all!
We love her so much but she's growing so fast! Here are some of the thing she loves and does...
She is still in 3 month clothes and 0-3 month pants.
She's tall and skinny and white as a ghost.
She still has blue eyes and her hair is getting lighter.
She loves to smile and just started laughing more....

She loves water bottles and cups.
Still won't take a bottle or pacifier.
She loves her puppy!

She's starting to sit up and roll onto her stomach.
She loves grabbing everything! Including tanks ears and tail and under my arms which doesn't feel so hot.
She started getting up once a night again.
She likes peaches and applesauce. Not a fan of peas.
She will still only nap in my arms or if I am by her on the bed.
Doesn't like being put down or left alone.
She's a daddy's girl.
Hates it when I shower. She cries the whole time.
She loves being outside, feeding the horse apples and going for walks.
We love our little angel and can't wait for her to learn new things!!!

My Family Reunion

To make the trip to Panquitch a little easier on Abi we stopped by Levan for the night to visit my mom and dad. My dad is so cute with Abi.
We got to the cabin a day before everyone else. This is Abi relaxing with GGrandpa Leu. Looks comfy.
I absolutely LOVE this picture. I think she liked the swing. Sometimes it's hard to tell.
Kendle asleep in the big chair. He looks so cute! He is such a well mannered little boy.

Relaxing in the hammock.
Little buddies.
I love this picture. Her shirts says it all.
Abi is still trying to get back on schedule after all of the excitement.
