Better than the Grizzlies? I think so!

By now you may all know that I am a HUGE fan of hockey. Any team, professional or not, I love it. So when we had the opportunity to go to Spencer's hockey game at the E Center, you better
believe I jumped on that. (Spencer is Matt's friend who introduced the two of us). The game was called "Guns n Hoses" (police versus fire fighters). The crowd was awesome and we were so into it. I think it's ten times better when you know the person playing. Here are some pics. Go Spencer!
We also went to two of Dillon's (my nephew) hockey games. These are the best. These kids are scrappy and pretty dang good. Dillon is one of the two best kids on his team. He is exciting to watch. I loved the game in Vernal. The crowd was intense and Matt's mom and almost lost our voices. Those moms can get feisty.

Mike (in the red) is their coach. He is such a good dad. He coaches soccer, baseball and hockey. He's always on the go!

Valentines Day

Well, Valentines Day breakfastdidn't quite work out the way I wanted it to. You can't see it but the scrambled eggs looked pretty bad and the heart toast, well, it doesn't look like what I found on the internet but it worked. So I started off the day with breakfast, played a slideshow of all of my favorite pictures of us, gave him a candy poster (not shown.)

I made the marsh mellow treats for my Young Women. Again, not as cute as the internet showed but it worked....

Matt got me these flowers which I thought was so cute because we were talking about how a bouquet of flowers just die. Hopefully I can keep these alive. I also got some chocolate and Wii resort!!! Woohoo! But the best thing of all was the sweetest letter. Matt always writes the sweetest letter. Yes, I got teary eyed. It was so cute.

All in all it was a great Valentines Day!

The day after was Matt's Birthday. We had cake and ice cream with Brian, Teneil, Scott, Britney, and the kids. I was glad they came on short notice. Matt had no idea. It was the closest to a surprise party I could get.

I was just looking on the Internet for some cute Valentines Day treats and found some really cute, creative treats that don't look to hard to make. Here they are...

Love toast.
All you need is bread, olive oil and butter, a heart shaped cookie cutter and an egg. Cut the heart shape into the piece of bread, place butter and a little bit of olive oil in a pan, brown one side of the bread, flip and add the egg. Cover to help cook the egg faster and tada!!!

This one's fun! It's just chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick!

This one is just Hostess Cakesters cut into heart shapes.

This one is from Bakerella.com. If you haven't heard of it you are missing the cutest website for fun creative treats! Hello. Cakepops. Look it up.

Just some fun ideas for Valentines. Hop you liked them. I'll let you know how Valentines day goes. I'm excited!
