(seriously high heels at the track?!)
This weekend we went out to Miller Motor Sports Park again. It never get's old. Jeremy came out on Saturday. We had fun timing Matt and his brother. We will have to get him out there sometime soon.
I think Matt has been watching too many Moto GP races. He had a head to head with the red bike. He tried and tried to pass him and finally did but braked to late going into the turn and almost lost it. He then decided to tone it down. Crazy kid!
There were a lot of crashes. My heart get's racing when I see the truck turn on it's lights and race out to the crash. This time they picked up two riders.
It really is pretty safe though. Most of the time the rider will crash and get right back up. In fact one time a rider crashed, jumped right back up and went out the next session. The guys really have a lot of fun there. I love it when they come back and pull off their helmets and get all excited about something that happened or how well they did. I think it's cute. Um... I mean cool. :)
Matt and I went inside the night before. They custom made the big chair he sits in, and they had retro looking appliances. Now you have to buy parade of home tickets to get in. :(
It was a lot of fun. They were going to do the balloons but found that the static electricity popped the balloons. We'll see. Go take a look.
Abi and Cambria joined in. I will have to get the pics of Cambria from Natalie. They also had fun playing together. At least I think so. They kind of just stared at each other.
Abi was all bundled up. She looks a lot more happy that she was.
Afterward we watched home videos from when my family visited Vegas when we were younger. It was sooo funny. It was so much fun.
I watched an episode of Master Chef and got on a little cooking kick. I was actually avoiding those shows with Chef Ramsey but Master Chef isn't as bad as Hell's Kitchen. He doesn't throw tantrums and swear on that one. At least not that I have seen. So here are some things that I have tried. I got the recipes from www.pillsbury.com.
I also started a garden. Not all of the plants survived but hey it's my first try. And of corse being a mom. I'm always trying new things with Abi. It's fun to see her reactions to new things.
She's really outgoing and not shy at all.
It was her final night so we got her some flowers. We were so proud!!!
After the tea party we played crochet. It was actually a lot more fun than these pictures show.
I'm trying this one on Saturday.
What better way to spend the 4th than in the mountains.
