Valentines Day

Well, Valentines Day breakfastdidn't quite work out the way I wanted it to. You can't see it but the scrambled eggs looked pretty bad and the heart toast, well, it doesn't look like what I found on the internet but it worked. So I started off the day with breakfast, played a slideshow of all of my favorite pictures of us, gave him a candy poster (not shown.)

I made the marsh mellow treats for my Young Women. Again, not as cute as the internet showed but it worked....

Matt got me these flowers which I thought was so cute because we were talking about how a bouquet of flowers just die. Hopefully I can keep these alive. I also got some chocolate and Wii resort!!! Woohoo! But the best thing of all was the sweetest letter. Matt always writes the sweetest letter. Yes, I got teary eyed. It was so cute.

All in all it was a great Valentines Day!

The day after was Matt's Birthday. We had cake and ice cream with Brian, Teneil, Scott, Britney, and the kids. I was glad they came on short notice. Matt had no idea. It was the closest to a surprise party I could get.

I was just looking on the Internet for some cute Valentines Day treats and found some really cute, creative treats that don't look to hard to make. Here they are...

Love toast.
All you need is bread, olive oil and butter, a heart shaped cookie cutter and an egg. Cut the heart shape into the piece of bread, place butter and a little bit of olive oil in a pan, brown one side of the bread, flip and add the egg. Cover to help cook the egg faster and tada!!!

This one's fun! It's just chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick!

This one is just Hostess Cakesters cut into heart shapes.

This one is from Bakerella.com. If you haven't heard of it you are missing the cutest website for fun creative treats! Hello. Cakepops. Look it up.

Just some fun ideas for Valentines. Hop you liked them. I'll let you know how Valentines day goes. I'm excited!

So Proud!

If you remember a few months ago I taught an activity for the Young Women's activity called "Touch of the Masters hand" where I taught the girls charcoal drawing. Well, one of the girls came up to me a couple of weeks ago and told me that she was entering her drawing into an art show at her school. I was so excited. This last Sunday she gave me the good news. She took 2nd place in her whole school!!! You have no idea how that made me feel. I was excited, happy and very, very proud. The look on her face was priceless.
Congrats Rachel!!!

The Watson Christmas Party

For Christmas, Matt and I went out to Vernal to spend time with Matt's family.

On Christmas we went over to Mike and Stacey's to watch the kids open their presents. Dillon got Hockey gloves. I love this picture. Oh and did I mention I love hockey! :)

Emma letting us know that it was her turn next. The kids got a lot of fun stuff. They got vanity's, snowboards, wake boards, I pod touch's, cologne, and clothes. Lots and lots of clothes.

Later on Christmas Matt and I opened out presents to each other. I GOT A WII. Woohoo! Oh, and Matt picked out that cute green puffer vest I am wearing. He has good taste.

Matt of corse got accessories for his dirt bike.
and tools to maintain his motorcycles.

Oh, and we couldn't forget Tank. He got a duck that we thought was tank proof. It was not. He tore a hole in it in I think 4 days!

The rest of the time we spent relaxing. Tank was in heaven.

Merry Christmas!

On Sunday we went to my parents and exchanged presents and played games. I wish I would have taken pictures. I love family time.

Watson Christmas Party

This year we had a family Christmas party with Matt's side of the family. We held it at our clubhouse. It was a blast! We had GREAT food, fun games, and wonderful company.

These are my nieces.... Emma, Payton, and Nicole hanging out watching a movie.
Payton and Nicole showing sisterly love.
Noah and Dillon decided to play out in the snow while....
Thanks Brit! I stole some of your pics. :)

And for some crazy reason they decided it would be fun to get out and run in the snow. Their crazy!
To finish out the night, the kids opened their presents to one another.
And Matt's mom opened some of her birthday presents.
I had to get a picture of Brian and Teneil. They were so cute. Anyway, we had a blast. I'm so glad I have great in laws!

Temple Lights

Sorry, I am very behind on my blogs. It has been a busy holiday season. December 11th we met our friends (Colt and Amy who came from Idaho) at Temple Square to see the lights. I think we have made it a tradition. For the last 3 years we have gone to temple square just before Christmas.

Amy is due in May. How cute is her little pregnant belly! We didn't get to spend to much time there because Matt and I went to clean the tabernacle after the Christmas Concert. We had a blast and it was nice weather. I hate the cold!
